APPLY TO FURMAN

Complete the Common Application and submit to the Furman Admissions Office. Here are three options:

Option 2: Print out and mail the following application materials along with the $50 application fee:

Teacher Evaluation

EARLY DECISION

November 15               Application deadline
December 15               Admissions decision letters are mailed
January 15                   You decide whether or not to commit to Furman (binding)

REGULAR DECISION

January 15                  Application deadline
March 15                     Admissions decision letters are mailed
May 1                           You decide whether or not to commit to Furman (binding)

APPLY FOR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE:

Will you need scholarships, loans or grants to pay the bills? To apply for assistance, you and your parents need to:

Apply for a Music Scholarship Audition . Review the dates and criteria with your parents and teacher.

Complete the CSS Profile (for Early Decision applications only)

Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), and

Apply for any merit based scholarships such as the Herman W. Lay scholarship, Hollingsworth Scholarship (SC students only), Townes Scholarship (Out of State Students).

Apply for other department-based awards if your major is something other than music.
