Alumni
It seems wherever you live or travel, you happen upon Furman music alumni. They're living and working and performing all over the world, from directing the band at your local middle school or conducting church choirs to performing on Broadway and conducting the Boston Pops. Many of our majors go straight to graduate school, with the goal of either performing or teaching at the university level. Others, however, hit the road running, either performing or giving lessons, teaching in schools, serving as church organists and choir directors, or in a myriad of other professions for which their Furman degree has prepared them well.
