Evening: Final reflection and evaluation for D.F. portion of the program

Afternoon: Lecture by Dr. Erik Ching and Oliver Fröhling on the Zapatista Uprising in Chiapas; followed by Final group discussion

Spend the day at the Caracol to meet with Zapatista community leaders and visit community school

Morning: Talk with Miguel Pickard from CIEPAC about “Overview of current situation; economy & Neo-liberalism and its impact in the state of Chiapas”
Afternoon: Reading Exam over Chiapas followed by free time

Morning: Arrive and tour the Miradores of the Canyon
Afternoon: Tour the river of the Cañon del Sumidero on motorboat
Evening: Talk with presidente municipal Lic. Sergio Lobato at the Palacio Municipal

Morning: Talk with Dr. Raymundo Sánchez Barrasa on “Socio-polítical reality in Mexico with focus on Chiapas and the Zapatista movement.”
Afternoon: Visit CIDECI projects with Rafael Perez
