Professor Chen joined furman in 2006. Prior to joining Furman, he taught at the University of Illinois at Chicago, Clemson University, University of California at Riverside, College of Charleston and Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles. In addition to teaching accounting in the Business & Accounting Department, Professor Chen is also a faculty member of the Asian Studies Department. Professor Chen has been involved in various Asian Studies programs including serving as the co-director of the 2006 Summer China Experience.
