South Carolina's February 3rd Presidential Primary is key in the electoral process, and voters here and across the nation will be watching the candidates as they take the stage on January 29th.
From Lincoln-Douglas to Kennedy-Nixon, debates have inspired thought, provoked passionate discussions, helped Americans frame issues and literally swayed elections. They illustrate democracy in action.
We hope that you - regardless of your party affiliation - will involve yourself in this uniquely American process by attending the debate, watching it on MSNBC or listening in on the NBC Radio Network. We encourage you, also, to take part in some of the other "wrap-around" events that collectively showcase South Carolina's excitement about the process and allow literally thousands of people to participate.
