Date: Thursday, January 29
Time: 7:00pm
Location: Peace Center, 300 S. Main Street, Greenville, South Carolina
Because the January 29th Democratic Presidential Debate is a news event hosted and broadcast by NBC News, tickets to the event will not be sold. Tickets will be distributed to the event sponsors (NBC, Furman University and the Young Democrats of South Carolina), to the candidates, and to the locally elected leaders of Democratic Party organizations in all of South Carolina's 46 counties. These are the folks who've been on the ground, working tirelessly to make our February 3rd Presidential Primary a success.
Due to security and broadcast television requirements, Debate attendees will enter through security checkpoints and must be in their seats no later than 6:00pm. A ticket and photo ID are required for admission. It is suggested that attendees arrive at the Peace Center Concert Hall no later than 5:30. A pre-program will begin at 5:45. The doors to the Hall will close at 6:00. Cameras and other recording devices are not allowed in the auditorium. No banners or signs are allowed in the Peace Center. Items may be checked prior to entry at the Gunter Theatre, which is located just to the left of the Peace Center Concert Hall, and retrieved following the debate. Campaign buttons and other logo items may not be displayed during the telecast. Cell phones must be turned off upon entry.
Ticketholders may pick up tickets with a photo ID at the following times and locations:
Monday, January 26
9am - 6pm Debate Office, 135 S. Main St, Greenville, 5th floor

Interest in the debate is so high among South Carolina Democrats, and unfortunately, not everyone will be able to attend this event. That is why Debate organizers have planned a range of other activities and opportunities, in hopes that you will join us in participating in this historic occasion. Greenville will be a very exciting place to be on January 29th and 30th!
