Developed by Virgnia Tech, this pamphlet collection has a comprehensive list for study skills topics ranging from Time Management, to Note Taking and In-Class skills, to suggestions on improving writing skills.

Depression and Sadness

Everyone has experienced feelings of depression at one time or another. These feelings commonly follow loss or disappointment and they usually pass in a few hours or days. When depressive feelings, however, persist and interfere with one's health and social well-being, then some sort of intervention or professional help is needed.

Eating Disorder

With all the focus these days on being fit and healthy, it is not unusual for people to be careful about their diet, monitoring their fat and sugar intake and watching their calories. Being mindful about one's diet is not harmful. However, if one's attentiveness to diet and food becomes the center of one's life, it may be time to consider the possibility of an eating disorder.
