Online Registration coming to Undergraduate Evening Studies:

The Evening Studies staff has been working hard with Datatel administrators and Computer and Information Services on campus to create an online registration system slated for completion (and Beta tested) in the Fall 2008 semester. As the Evening Studies program at Furman grows, online registration has become an essential mechanism necessary to continue to serve evening students with busy lives and schedules. Students will need to have network account information in order to log on to the registration system and also have access to online grades, making this information accessible faster for students. More information will follow as we approach the summer semster. Students should make sure to update their demographic information if they have moved or changed an e-mail address or phone number in the past year. Your patience with this new system during transition is appreciated.

Furman University changes Content Manager:

Furman University C&IS department will be implimenting a new content manager (Microsoft Sharepoint) in the upcoming semesters. This will change the look of the primary Furman site on the web and accessibility to information. For details, please visit this site again soon.

New Curriculum Changes at Furman:

Furman University day program has decided to change their curriculum as they officially switch to a semester system from a quarter system. These changes will also take place in the Fall 2008 semester, changing all course pnumonics and numbers for the Evening Studies program as well. Students entering the program in the Fall 2008 semester will follow the new curriculum while existing evening students will follow their current curriculum.
