ACADEMIC ADVISING:

Any UES student who would like to discuss their academic progress or concerns may call the Undergraduate Evening Studies office at 864-294-3160 for an appiontment with the Assistant Director of UES or e-mail Brett Barclay at brett.barclay@furman.edu for confidential advisement. For emergencies or emmediate assistance please contact Anne Chubb at 864-294-2155 or Shirley Mangels at 864-294-2154. Some of the subjects discussed during advisement sessions are:

•Course registration information and course sequence

•Pre-requisites and co-requisites.

•Study Skills (test taking, effective textbook reading, time management, learning styles, etc.)

•Managing a busy personal and professional life with your academics.

•Graduation Requirements

Students are encouraged to seek advisement each semester and personal, phone and e-mail advisement is offered any time and at the students convenience.
