The University Center has multiple meeting facilities available in a convenient, central location.

Meeting Spaces

The Watkins Room, which seats 300, is the largest meeting space in the University Center. It can be set up to accommodate a banquet, a presentation, or a trade show with equal ease.

Positioned in front of Furman's beautiful lake, the University Center is the hub of campus activity. The UC, as it is commonly called by the student body, is filled with rooms available to suit any occasion. A wide variety of meeting rooms have the ability to accommodate anywhere from 15-300 people, and the University Center also features a seated theater, which can serve as a screening room.

These multiple meeting rooms provide the chance for organizations to separate into smaller groups for lecture or seminar style Break-out sessions.

Located on the lower level of the University Center you'll find an eatery, a bookstore, and a post office.

The Theatre located on the upper level of the University Center can be used as a screening room for movies and presentations. The small stage also provides a space for live performances or lectures.
