Timmons Arena is located on the outskirts of Furman’s campus. Two-story windows and an elegant French Quarter stone floor make Timmons’s lobby an area well-suited for small receptions and special events.

With a permanent stage, and a concrete floor, Timmons Arena has over 33,500 square feet of trade show space. Seating capacity for Timmons is 5,000 for sporting events and 5,500 for concerts. In-house sound and lighting are available.

Timmons Arena also has an elegant private suite located backstage which can accommodate up to 200 people. With direct access from the dressing rooms, it is the perfect location for private dinners or receptions.

The Paladin basketball teams provide entertainment for both the student body and the community

Timmons Arena has four paved parking lots around the building for public parking and separate lots for event parking and loading dock. Event parking can accommodate five trucks and five buses. The loading dock has a 115' x 15' covered dock. The dock can easily accommodate three semi-trucks simultaneously. An enclosed first aid facility is also located in Timmons Arena.
