Moving In

New Student Orientation

Fall Orientation is a four-day experience held before the beginning of the fall semester. This mandatory session offers students a starting point in how to interact with others, how to traverse academics, and in many cases, how to deal with living with someone for the first time.

Move-In Dates

Freshmen students should check-in with the resident assistant of their assigned residence hall when they arrive on campus. Detailed information about parking and the check-in location will be sent students prior to move-in day. Upperclass students will check-in at their Area Offices (Lakeside=Judson, South Housing=Poteat, North Village/Greenbelt=North Village J 100 Meeting Room).

At check-in, you will receive your Room Condition Report. With your resident assistant’s guidance, you’ll be able to document the condition of your room. This form must be completed and signed.
