Furman University is pleased to announce that Continuation Coverage on the Student Health Insurance Plan is now Available.

Beginning this year, all students currently insured under Furman's student injury and sickness insurance plan are eligible to continue the coverage for a period of up to six months beyond the policy termination date of August 31, 2008.

To apply for this extended coverage, an application must be completed and premium paid directly to United Healthcare Student Resources. The payment must be received within 14 days after the expiration date of August 31, 2008.
