The AFS Council serves in various capacities. We are the coordinating body among different areas of student organizations, including Residential Life Council (RLC), Furman University Student Activities Board (FUSAB), Religious Council, the Intramural/Recreational Sports Council, and the Minority/International Council. We are also the primary source of funding for student groups across campus. Even more importantly, AFS exists for you as students to voice your concerns and initiate action.
The AFS Council serves as the primary liaison between the administration and the students regarding any issue that directly affects the quality of the Furman experience. To voice your concerns, we need to hear them. We look forward to meeting you and working with you this year!
Our Weekly Open Meetings: 6:00pm in the Thomas Room (In the UC, Next to Burgiss Theater)
