Multicultural Student Evening

Furman University is a community of learning enriched by the wide variety of experiences and perspectives of its students, faculty, and staff. Furman thus embraces diversity as an implicit value and as an explicit practice in all of its endeavors.

Multicultural Student Evening is a time to meet faculty, staff, and alumni who support diversity and inclusion initiatives, as well as Mosaic members. After dinner, students have the opportunity to stay overnight on campus with a Mosaic host, while parents enjoy a Paladin “Knight Cap” in beautiful downtown Greenville.

All accepted multicultural students and their families are invited to stay the night of Friday, March 23, or Friday, April 13, as our guest for the Multicultural Student Evening.

During this evening, you will:

  • learn about resources available to our inclusive community of students;
  • enjoy dinner and a speaker with current students, faculty, and staff;
  • meet representatives from various student organizations;
  • share experiences with your new classmates in all walks of life from across the country and around the world.

Students will stay overnight on campus with a student host, and parents will enjoy hotel accommodations in downtown Greenville courtesy of the Office of Admission. Space is limited, so we encourage you to register early.
