Thank you for your interest in Furman. We want to partner with you to better serve your students and their families in their college search process. The information below will give you a snapshot of our campus and everything it has to offer.
Application process and requirements
Furman applicants are required to complete the Common Application. We also ask school counselors to submit a School Report so that we can learn about the courses and programs offered at your school. Each applicant can choose between three decision plans. Review our first-year applicant checklist to learn about our different application plans.
Scheduling a visit for students
The best way to learn about Furman is to see it and meet the people who know the university best—students, faculty, and staff. Encourage your students to visit.
Scheduling a visit for counselors
We enjoy hosting college counselors on our campus. If you’d like to visit, contact Claire Garst, Assistant Director of Admission, at email@example.com.
Furman Admission Network (FAN) interviews give us the opportunity to learn about the unique talents of your student. Encourage your students to sign up for an interview.
Nominate a Furman Scholar
Tell us about your exceptional high school juniors, and they may be selected for a $7,500 Furman Scholar scholarship. Nominate a Furman Scholar.
Encourage students to become a Summer Scholar
Furman offers two exciting week-long residential academic enrichment programs in July. Rising juniors and seniors experience life on Furman's campus and learn from some of Furman's best professors. Apply now.
