Furman's most prestigious scholarships, the Merit-based Scholarships, are awarded to students who demonstrate exceptional potential for making a positive impact in the Furman community.

The admission application serves as the basis for the nominations of the Merit-based Scholarships. The Admission Committee reviews each student's academic profile, special talents, and extracurricular involvement. Select students will be invited by the end of February to attend a Scholarship Interview Event scheduled to take place at the end of March.

Be sure to review our application deadlines to learn when these notifications will be sent.
