Furman University is proud to participate in the Tuition Exchange (TE) program, as well as the Associated Colleges of the South (ACS) program. If your parent is a faculty or staff member at a participating TE or ACS institution, we invite you to apply for either of these programs through your parent’s Human Resources department. Please note that you still need to apply to Furman via the Common App.

How do I apply?

The process begins with your home institution. Your parent must complete an application with their Human Resources department. There is no paperwork to complete with Furman. Once your institution approves your application, Furman will be notified of your eligibility.

When will I be notified?

All decisions will be made no later than April 1. You may apply to Furman under either the Early Decision plan, Early Action plan, or Regular Decision plan. Please note, if you apply Early Decision or Early Action, your financial aid package may be adjusted in April if you are a TE/ACS recipient.

How much can I receive?

For the 2016-17 academic year, Tuition Exchange recipients will receive $34,000. ACS recipients will receive the cost of tuition.
