If your student has been accepted to Furman, be sure to attend one of our Accepted Student Days. Our program includes a session especially designed for parents. You will be able to attend an informational session and tour our campus before rejoining your student at an academic open house. Your student will attend his/her own schedule of activities. Here is what you can expect:

Academic Open Houses
Across campus
Academic departments host informal open houses for both parents and students.  This is the perfect time to ask questions about your intended major, a specific class, or anything else about college academics.

Explore Furman
Take a break and explore the bookstore, take a walk around the lake, tour the David E. Shi Center for Sustainability, enjoy the current exhibit in the Thompson Gallery in the Roe Art Building, or visit with Financial Aid representatives in the Administration Building.

Enjoy delectable sweet treats and entertainment by current Furman students as you visit with your admission counselor to wrap up the day. Don’t forget to smile for the camera in our photo booth and ask for your accepted student gift!
