  • Current disciplinary research interests

I am interested in presenting a human behavior/social science perspective to students to demonstrate how sustainability has long-term impacts for everybody.  Particularly I examine Poverty and Gender in developing countries, environmental degradation and climate change, food security and public health and how they are all interconnected. In my teaching I emphasize the UN Declaration of Human Rights, Women's Rights and Children's Rights and move the discussion to public policy.

    • Interest in connecting sustainability to research

Research and Collaboration:  As an adjunct, I believe I am more successful in writing research grants by collaborating with others.
