- Current disciplinary research interests
Plant Ecology, with emphasis on plant-soil interactions, trace element biogeochemistry, uptake and accumulation of trace metals in plants, use of metal-accumulating plants for bioremediation, and conservation of endemic species of metalliferous areas including serpentine.
- Interest in connecting sustainability to research
The conservation and bioremediation aspects mentioned in question 1 have obvious connections to environmental sustainability, and I am always interested in developing connections related to these issues.
