Furman University has been highly successful in preparing its students for acceptance to law school. Since 2010, Furman students have been accepted to prestigious law schools across the nation, including Columbia, Duke, Georgetown, Harvard, Stanford, the University of Chicago, the University of Virginia, and Yale.

Over the last five years, 782 law schools offered seats to 171 of our students, with each student receiving an average of 4.6 acceptance offers. While Furman's acceptance rates are a great accomplishment given our small size, what is even more impressive is the law schools where Furman students have successfully enrolled and graduated. View a complete listing of law schools to which Furman students have been accepted and matriculated during this period.

If you are interested in potentially applying to law school, you should also check out the Law School Admission Council (LSAC) and make sure to consult with the Pre-Law Advisor.
