Q: What should I bring to 2017 Furman
Single Reed Day?
A: You should have your instrument, reeds, music (solo and all-state audition music), a notebook for taking notes, a pencil or pen, and money for vendors. Lunch will be provided, but feel free to bring a light snack in case you get hungry.
Q: What is a master class?
A: A master class is a group session in which a teacher coaches a student. These usually involve a single student performer, but include feedback and advice for all in attendance. They are valuable ways to learn from one another and excellent opportunities to perform.
Q: What will the vendors be selling?
A: Reeds, music, accessories, mouthpieces. There will also be clarinets,
saxophones and other equipment available for trial and purchase.
