The major in urban studies provides you with an interdisciplinary perspective on the forces of urbanization, urban growth and decline, urban life, and urban problems.

A major in urban studies must include:

  • ECN-111, PSC-101, and SOC-101,
  • ECN-225, MTH-241, PSC-150 or SOC- 303,
  • two of the following four courses: ECN- 234, HST-321, PSC-208, and SOC-223, and
  • at least five additional courses from the list below:
