A variety of dining options will be available to students throughout the summer. The Daniel Dining Hall will be open daily for breakfast (7:00-9:00AM), lunch (11:00AM-1:30PM) and dinner (5:00-7:00PM). Additional choices can be found at the Paddock Restaurant in the Trone Student Center open weekdays for lunch (11:30AM-1:30PM) and Traditions Grill at the Furman Golf Club serving delicious fare as the sun shines Mondays and Wednesdays 8:30AM-6:30PM, Tuesdays and Thursdays 8:30AM-8:00PM, Fridays and Saturdays 8:00AM-6:30PM and Sundays 8:30AM-6:00PM. Information Technology Services
The Information Technology Service Center, located on the lower level of the James B. Duke Library, provides computing assistance to the campus community during the summer. A network account (NetID) should be obtained by all students and is required to access university computing resources. Please visit the ITS web site for more information including IT Service Center hours.
All students must have a valid Furman student identification card to access services on campus. Find out more about how to obtain an ID at the Student Business Center website or visit Enrollment Services in person in Administration Building 102.
Physical Activites Center
The Herman W. Lay Physical Activities Center is open regular hours during both summer sessions. A valid student ID is required to use the facilities. Consult furmanfitness.com to find out more about what is happening at the PAC.
Parking and Police Service
Ample parking is available near classroom buildings and all over campus. If you don't already have one, you can obtain a parking permit online at www.furman.edu/parking. Once you're permitted, be sure to comply with university traffic and parking regulations to ensure you don't get ticketed!
Parking regulations are enforced by the University Police. The University Police have full police authority and they are available to assist you 24 hours every day. Contact the University Police at 864-294-2111 or visit their offices on the ground floor of Hipp Hall.
